Question and Answer: Darkchild

Darkchild is a loyal fan of the pairing. She actually apologized for not having a website :-). But we're okay with that. When asked what to tell other fans about her, she stated "Oh, you can write that I am devoted fanfiction reader that came across the exciting pairing of Aoshi and Megumi by accident.

And haven't turned back ever since then!"

1. First off, let's get this monkey out of the way, why Aoshi and Megumi? In other words, what makes them work, in your eyes?

Hmm, what draws me to both of them is that fact that they are a very mature couple to root for. The chemistry that they made in the little scenes together were sizzling. And that fact that are not a main pairing really draws me in the most. I was never a canon pairing or the popular pairing reader to begin with. I love to read about pairings that the authors creates a new history for the couple in question. And Aoshi/Megumi fits that bill perfectly.

2. Are there pairings or stories out there that reminds you of the relationship between Aoshi and Meg?

Well, there are a couple of parings come to mind, but they don't have all the magic that make them Aoshi/Meg. They are one of a kind to me.

3. Do you think that Aoshi likes pineapples? Er rather, what do you think Aoshi's favorite food is? Heck, if you feel like it, attach a favorite meal/snack for any and all RK characters! Use your imagination. (no points for people who already have favorite foods--ie Beef Hot Pot or Soba) :D

Neat question. Aoshi to me seems to enjoy all kinds of foods, but I say Coconut Shrimp for fun. I can see Megumi enjoying some grill foods that you can make on the George Foreman Grill. *saves time*

4. What is the most interesting or complex thing about Aoshi and Megumi's characteristics?

With both of Aoshi and Megumi, you had to look beyond that surface of their outside appearance. They are both are some of the most passionate people that I had even read about. And I came to care for them very much.
